  • Up-to-date vaccinations are strongly recommended, though not required.

For OUTDOOR performances:

  • Masks are strongly recommended, though not required, throughout outdoor venues.
  • Up-to-date vaccinations are strongly recommended, though not required.

Policies are subject to change throughout the season as necessary. Changes will be reflected on this page and communicated directly to affected ticket-holders via email.

Refunds & Exchanges
If you are unable to attend or uncomfortable attending a performance for any reason related to COVID-19, please contact our Ticket Office to arrange a refund or exchange, as appropriate.

Wearing an Appropriate Mask
Appropriate masks fit snugly over your nose, mouth, and chin.  When wearing cloth masks, we recommend double-masking with a surgical mask underneath to improve the fit. Unacceptable masks include masks with exhalation valves or vents, scarves, balaclava, bandanas, and neck gaiters.

If you have any questions regarding our COVID-19 safety policies, please contact our Ticket Office.

BareStage Productions presents

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Directed by Kira Wefers
Produced by Daniel Wong
Stage Managed by Hannah Linaweaver

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is the raucous tale of six quirky middle schoolers battling it out for the most coveted of prizes - first place. As the students compete, they begin to learn the meaning of words such as “strabismus”, “boanthropy”, and, best of all ,“friendship”. Join us for the hilarious, and splendiferous, story of a group of kids from all over Putnam County as they spell their hearts out and maybe, just maybe, redefine what it means to be a winner.

Online presales have ended.

Tickets may still be available for sale at the door beginning 1 hour before showtime. Cash or Check only.

All ticket presales close at 10:30am on the last weekday (usually Fridays) prior to the show. This is so we can print all tickets for a show weekend, as our box office is NOT open on weekends. Emails and voicemails received outside of business hours will not be read or heard until the next business day.
