Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 is a dazzling musical by Dave Malloy based on a tiny slice of Tolstoy’s War and Peace. Taking place in the year 1812, this sung-through musical tells the story of Natasha, a young woman desperately in love with her betrothed. When she and her cousin, Sonya, move to Moscow to await the return of their fiancés from the war, Natasha becomes entangled with the alluring and charismatic Anatole. Meanwhile, Pierre searches for meaning and fulfillment in his life. Their stories intertwine in a moving tale of love and loss featuring a diverse cast of characters and enchanting music.

Directions: start at Sather Gate facing Sproul Plaza, turn right to go along Strawberry Creek, to the right side of Golden Bear Cafe. After you pass the wind tunnel on your left, the entrance to the CRH is below the balcony of the Student Learning Center!

The above directions require patrons to go down a couple sets of stairs to enter the theater. If you have a mobility-related access need, you can enter the building through the Lower Sproul Parking Garage on Bancroft Way and Dana Street. Turn left to reach the white wall with two sets of double doors with a ramp to their right. The left-most double doors will be labeled with a BareStage sign, but the doors require key card access to enter the building.
