Footloose is a classic, high-energy musical packed with an electric soundtrack and an unforgettable story of rebellion and resilience—you won’t want to miss it! When Ren McCormack and her mother move from Chicago to a small town nobody’s ever heard of, Bomont, she quickly discovers that her new life comes with strict rules, the most heartbreaking being the ban on dancing. After leaving everything behind, Ren finds herself in a high school filled with kids too afraid to challenge the authority of Reverend Moore, where her passion for dance is stifled and tested. But things take a turn when she meets Ariel, Reverend Moore’s rebellious daughter and she finds herself drawn not only to Ariel’s fire but also to the possibility of something deeper than friendship. Between Ariel’s wild streak, her redneck boyfriend, and the town’s resistance to change, Ren’s journey in Bomont becomes one of love, longing, and an unmatched passion for dance. Directions: start at Sather Gate facing Sproul Plaza, turn right to go along Strawberry Creek, to the right side of Golden Bear Cafe. After you pass the wind tunnel on your left, the entrance to the CRH is below the balcony of the Student Learning Center!

The above directions require patrons to go down a couple sets of stairs to enter the theater. If you have a mobility-related access need, you can enter the building through the Lower Sproul Parking Garage on Bancroft Way and Dana Street. Turn left to reach the white wall with two sets of double doors with a ramp to their right. The left-most double doors will be labeled with a BareStage sign, but the doors require key card access to enter the building.

Online presales have ended. Your tickets will be available for pick up at the door under Will Call.

Tickets may still be available for sale at the door beginning 1 hour before showtime. Cash or Check only.

 

All ticket presales close at 10:30am on the last weekday (usually Fridays) prior to the show. This is so we can print all tickets for a show weekend, as our box office is NOT open on weekends. Emails and voicemails received outside of business hours will not be read or heard until the next business day.
